Come join the Aquarium of Niagara on a beautiful course along the Niagara River! The race will start and end at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, a short walk from the Aquarium, and will utilize the New York State Parks trail along the Niagara Gorge. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome to participate in the Aquarium of Niagara’s Sea Lion 5K. Participants are invited to attend an after party at the Aquarium with healthy snacks, live music, and a sea lion show. Children under the age of 6 can participate for free.
Participants who register by September 17th are guaranteed to recieve an official Sea Lion 5K shirt. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first come, first serve basis until they are gone. All registrants receive free admission to the Aquarium for the day.
The overall top male and female runners will receive a certificate for a free animal encounter. Top runners in their age group will receive a special painting made by one of our rescued sea lions.
The race benefits our rescued seals and sea lions; we are proud to be a rescue facility and to provide a home and second chance for our pinniped pals.

$30 pre-registration
$35 for day of registration
*Packet pickup begins at 8:00am on race day at the entrance of the Aquarium and the race will start at 9am.
